I was talking to flickums and a few others this weekend about con etiquette (specifically about how you don't talk to the actors about fanfic). I'm amazed there isn't a site with a lists of dos and don't for attending a con.

So, my question to the con goers on my flist is this. What items would you include in a con etiquette site and why?

So, I've been discussing Changing Channels with flickums. I've seen the ep three times since it aired now which is more than any other S5.

I've got a story written for the XMMFicathon that I'd like to get a beta on. It's a one-shot, about 4500 words. It's a Scott/Jean story with no explicit sex and some implied slash. It's meant to be able to be read as a standalone, but is also consistent with my X1 series that begins with I Know What You Are, which is where the implied slash comes in.

I'd love to get two betas - one who has read my previous fiction and one who hasn't, so I can see if it works for both kinds of populations. So, if there's a plus side to the general fuck up that is my nose ring, it's that the nasty little crusties on one side have kinda pushed that side up and stopped it looking so crooked.

Yeah, that's just great.

On a more plus-like plus side, it's hurting a lot less this morning, so I don't think it's infected, but it's probably still swollen and a bit inflamed, so I shall be guzzling paracetomol like a pro, in the hopes that the swelling will go down and I can take this fucker out.

*head desk* Gaiz, take my experience as a cautionary warning - don't go to piercers who, a few minutes ago, you saw tattooing a guy, because they're probably not very good piercers! Also, remember next time, they should ask for i.d., there should be a consent (or something, IDK) form to fill in, they should explain their process, they should ask YOU what you think about their placement AND they should ask you your opinion on the jewellery they're going to use. Oh, and there should be aftercare instructions!!

*siiiiigh*

In other news, I'm finally feeling mostly better (had a ... depressed? spell for a few days), SO LETS GO DO WORK! WOOOOO. *cough*

From what I understand the wank and hatred has already started and I just want to make it clear that if any of that crops up on my flist you will be gone. RPS is not reality, guys. If you're a fan of Jensen you should want him to be happy. Let's all keep it pleasant please :)
